Charles Bobertz

Deacon

Deacon Charles Bobertz holds a B.A. from St. John’s University in 1980, a Master of Theological Studies degree from Harvard University (1983), and M.A., Th.M. and Ph.D. degrees from Yale Uni-versity (1988). He was ordained to the diaconate for the diocese of St. Cloud in 1997. Deacon Bobertz is professor of New Testament and Patristics at St. John's School of Theology Seminary and joined Pax Christi as a deacon in June of 2015. He and his wife Mary have two grown children, Sarah (26, Grants Pass, Oregon) and Thomas (24, Chanhassen, MN) and live in Chanhassen.
