Baptism incorporates us with Christ and forms us into God's people. It is the first sacrament of initiation. The Catholic Church baptizes people of all age--from infants to adults. To help prepare individuals and families for this sacrament, the Church offers various forms of formation.At Pax Christi families choosing to baptize their infant are invited to attend a Baptism Preparation Workshop which offers insight and guidance concerning the Sacrament of Baptism.
Once a month, usually the first Thursday*, 6:30-8:00pm, via zoom*The day the session is held can change, please refer to the drop down menu on the form below for all available dates.Please preregister online below or call the parish office, 952-941-3150. Parents are expected to participate in the session even if they have baptized other children. Experienced parents have much to offer new parents!The parish needs a copy of the child’s birth certificate for the purposes of the certificate and sacramental record. You may bring it to the preparation session, drop it off at the parish office, or email as an attachment to email@example.com.
