Faith Formation Volunteer Opportunities
We are always
looking for post-Confirmation teen leaders for our middle and high
school Faith Formation program. Equipped through our leader trainings in
the beginning and middle of the year, teens will have the opportunity
to lead small group discussions, activities, and prayer for youth grades
6-10. We also can sign off on service hours for this commitment!

explore a ton of relevant topics often not taught in school. Youth do

Living Stations
Here
at Pax Christi, our high school youth have the opportunity to lead the
parish in the beloved devotion of Living Stations of the Cross, a live
depiction of different moments from Jesus’s Passion and death. Teens
will be our readers, depict each character, and even have the
opportunity to help with the music ministry involved in the event. This
will happen on Good Friday at 5:30 pm, with rehearsals in the evening
during Holy Week. Questions? Contact Oona Myhre at omyhre@paxchristi.com
High School Art Opportunities
Pax
Christi’s Art Committee is always looking for young people to share
their artistic gifts with us! From parish-wide all-calls for art to
seasonal projects, there are consistent opportunities to have your art
featured in our Martin Luther King Jr. room. Questions? Contact Lorrie
Scheller at lorrie.scheller@gmail.com
Liturgical Ministry Opportunities
As
baptized members of the parish community, teens are called and
encouraged to “full, conscious, and active participation in the liturgy”
(Sacrosanctum Concilium, Second Vatican Council). To help others fully
participate as well, our teens have a part in this as well! Teens can
be greeters, lectors, and, if they’ve received the Sacrament of
Confirmation, Eucharistic Ministers. Questions? Contact Joan Howe-Pullis
