with symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc.) or who has
been exposed to COVID-19 in the last 14 days needs to stay home.
Please note: the CDC has changed their guidance about masking in response
to the increasing spread of the Delta variant of COVID. The CDC is now
recommending masks for all unvaccinated persons everywhere AND that “fully
vaccinated people living or working in counties that are reporting
“substantial” or “high” transmission of the virus wear masks indoors. The
transmission rate in Hennepin County at this time is considered “substantial”
and the daily rates of positive cases is increasing quite significantly.
Consequently, we are encouraging those coming to Pax Christi for Mass or
programs to mask in compliance with the CDC guidelines. Masks will
continue to be required at the 9:00 Mass on Sunday. Our goal remains
keeping the most vulnerable safe, while continuing to offer options and
opportunities to all.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists anywhere people are present. Pax Christi Catholic Community has undertaken precautionary cleaning, disinfecting, and implemented social distancing guidelines to help reduce the risk of exposure. However, Pax Christi cannot guarantee that visitors are 100% safe from exposure to COVID-19. We will continue to offer Mass in-person, via live stream, and via the Parking Lot Mass. We welcome you to join us as you feel most comfortable.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation as we navigate this new challenge. Please contact the parish office at 952-941-3150 if you have any questions.
