No matter where you are on your faith journey — whether you join us every week or it’s been a while — you are warmly invited to walk with us this Lenten season. Lent is a time of reflection, renewal, and community. We offer opportunities for prayer, worship, and meaningful activities throughout the week. Come as you are, and together, let’s prepare our hearts for Easter. There’s a place for you here.Interested in getting connected to a small group? Join us on Hallow this Lent for Pray40 as we meditate on the writings of St. Josemaría Escrivá, author of the spiritual classic The Way. Together, we’ll hear Escrivá’s powerful advice and spiritual direction brought to life through the story of Servant of God Takashi Nagai, a Japanese Catholic convert who miraculously survived the atomic bombing of Nagasaki in 1945. In a moment he lost everything, but through it he surrendered himself and his city to the Lord.

This Lent, the Pax Christi Community Council invites you to consider those less fortunate as our parish partners with Cross Catholic Outreach (CCO). We hope to support communities lacking fundamental access to clean water as we fundraise for a well in Africa. In CCO-supported dioceses, individuals endure physical thirst and myriad health problems stemming from the contaminated rivers, streams, and hand-dug pits they rely on for drinking, bathing, and cleaning. Women and girls walk for hours to fetch a single bucket of water, which is frequently tainted with bacteria, insects, and animal waste. This immense burden of water collection not only hinders women's participation in economic activities but also deprives girls of educational opportunities. The simple act of installing a well in a community holds the power to transform its economic prospects and alter the life trajectory of an entire generation of girls. As we reflect on our dear neighbor in Christ this Lent, we encourage you to donate to this well initiative. By embracing the Lenten pillars of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, you can bring clean, safe water to remote villages where families rely on contaminated sources. Your support will also contribute to vital health and spiritual initiatives that heal bodies and bless souls, making a tangible difference in the lives of those most in need. Stay tuned for instructions on how to give during Lent.
