Happy 40th Anniversary Pax Christi!

June 19 & 20

Pax Christi Invites you to join us in joyful celebration of our 40th Anniversary this coming Saturday, June 19 or Sunday, June 20! Please join us in praying this special prayer during all of the Masses this weekend, or wherever you are! We will have a special outdoor reception following the 5:00pm Saturday Mass and 9:00am Sunday Mass of cookies and lemonade in the parking lot.

You will also find a special message of remembrance on this page from former Pastors Fr. Patrick Kennedy and Fr. Bill Murtaugh, and a link to the special 40th Anniversary edition of the Pax Christi Magazine.

Thank you to everyone who makes Pax Christi a wonderful place of worship and community! May we have many more anniversary celebrations to come!

A Prayer To Celebrate 40 Years As A Faith Community

Lord, on this 40th year of our parish community,

We thank you for our past;
for those who had the vision for our parish,
for the hands that built our church,
for the people who helped it to grow,
for those who have helped to lead it forward to today,

We praise you for the many gifts you have bestowed on us;
for the ability to seek you and worship you,
for opportunities to respond to our baptismal call,
for relationships in our community,
for the land and resources that nourish us in every season.

We ask you to grant us the grace to entrust our future to your will,
that our efforts bring your love and mercy to others,
that our discernment and our decisions be guided by your wisdom,
that the paths we have yet to dream be your paths.

We pray all this in the Spirit of Christ.
