Our mission at Haven housing is to provide women and women-led families in crisis and transition with a stable environment and the opportunity to explore options for their future. We do this through individualized case management and safe, community-focused shelter and supportive housing.

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed Haven Housing's three programs: Ascension Place, St. Anne's Place, and Next Step Housing. The culture at Haven Housing has a strong emphasis on community and historically each week is filled with classes, groups, and field trips. We have adapted and shifted to virtual settings for groups and case management. Staying connected to our clients and providing them with community has been challenging. However, we like to think the strong foundation and healthy relationships we foster with our clients, and encourage between each other, have helped to make the best of the situation. We have found creative ways to stay connected to our clients and ensure that they still feel the support and stability of Haven Housing.
On of our biggest needs is advocacy in our community to address the problem of homelessness and monetary donations. For more information please email our Executive Director, Monica Nilsson at mnilsson@havenhousing.org. Additionally, we have a wish list - CLICK HERE to view it.While Haven Housing is not currently accepting volunteers, we look forward to spring and summer when we can safely welcome volunteers. Summer-Fall of 2021 we are embarking on a remodel project for our Family Shelter, St. Anne's Place, focusing on the sleepign rooms and will likely need volunteers to help with cleaning, painting, etc. Email info@havenhousing.org for more info!
