Last Friday evening, my mom learned that her spinal tap test was positive for leptomeningeal cancer. When the doctor told her the news, she was told she only has two months to live.
My mom will be starting radiation this week. However, it is possible that effects of the treatment will be such that by the time the school year nears, she might be considering hospice care.
It hurts me deeply to see my mom going through this, and she could use all the spiritual support to help through this journey.
