Pax Christi is blessed
with volunteers who give their time to prepare, plant and harvest the Giving
Garden for PROP. It started back in 2012 and is still going strong in 2022.
They begin their work in mid May and harvest usually takes place in October.
Monday mornings and Thursday evenings you will find someone in the garden
working Gods soil. Last year they harvested 1300 pounds of fresh food for
others in need. We want to bless the garden and the volunteers who make it
happen. Come join us on May 14th, 10:00 am in front of the Giving Garden. If
you too are a gardener, bring a sampling of your soil, seed, plant, tools anything
you might want blessed from your own garden. It’s a great way to begin your
summer. Knowing the Holy Spirit is with you as you care for God’s creation is a
beautiful gift. All are welcome.
