WISDOM OF THE ANCIENTS
The Study of the Wisdom Books and Catholic Epistles
Tuesdays, October 3 through April 2, 9:30–11:30am, tuition is $100, offered In-person and via Zoom
Women
With Spirit Bible Study will meet in person and offer the option of
participating by Zoom. Women of all ages and faiths are invited to join
us for 19 weekly hour-long lectures by biblical scholars, followed by an
hour of small group discussion. This year’s series, “Wisdom of the
Ancients,” will study the Wisdom Books with Dr. David Penchansky and the
Catholic (meaning “universal”) Epistles with Dr. Catherine Cory. Sr.
Joan Mitchell, CSJ will present on the O Antiphons. Morning of
Reflection topics are Dorothy Day, presented by Scott Brazil, and
Biblical Understandings of the Afterlife presented by Fr. Michael
Joncas. Please consider joining this active group of women who share a
desire for greater understanding of the scriptures. Tuition is $100. REGISTRATIONS REQUESTED BY SEPTEMBER 22.
