«Travel to the Holy Land and Istanbul with Fr. Bill - November 7-16, 2012
Magi Travel is offering a 9-day journey to the Holy Land. It is being  hosted by Fr. Bill Murtaugh.  Highlights include time in Nazareth, Galilee, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and Holy Hour in the Garden of Gethsemane.  An optional extension to Istanbul, November 16–19, is available.  Brochures are available in the parish office or on the bulletin board at Entrance #3.  You may also contact Magi Travel, 952-949-0065, or info@magitravelinc.com, for complete details of this Holy Land experience.

«Can You Speak or Read Another Language?
The church celebrates Pentecost as the feast when we all became one, when the disciples were told to “Go now and make disciples of all nations” and when the good news began to be spread to all.  In honor of that tradition, Pax Christi is looking for people to proclaim one of the readings in a language other than English at each of the Pentecost masses the weekend of May 26/27.  (That also happens to be Memorial Day weekend this year.)  So if your native language is something other than English or if you have studied another language and could read a translation of one of the first two readings for that feast, please contact Sally Bergum, Liturgical Coordinator in the parish office, 952-405-7229.

«Sr. High Youth Peer Ministry Help Needed for “Son” and Service Camp
Week of July 23-27
Senior High youth (those entering 9th grade through 12th grade) are needed for this year’s “Son” and Service Camp.  Peer Ministers will be used each afternoon (12:00noon – 4:30pm) to help supervise small groups of campers, participate in activities with them, get to know the campers, and provide support to adult leaders.  We are also looking for 2–3 Sr. High youth who would be available for full days of SSC (8:30am – 4:30pm).  All Peer Ministers MUST attend training which will be held on Tues. July 10, 6:00–8:00pm in the Garden Level youth room.  Complete a registration form/application and payment of $35 by July 1.  Questions?  Contact Cindy, 952-405-7214, cnovak@paxchristi.com

«Email and Electronic Bulletin Users Wanted
Registered members: If you would like to receive the eBulletin by email rather than land mail, please contact the parish office, 952-941-3150, or mnault@paxchristi.com. Emailing the bulletin to those who would enjoy receiving it in that format both saves the community money and makes us better stewards of the earth’s resources. Contact Melissa Nault, 952-405-7221, if you have additional questions.

«Catholic Youth Bibles Available!
We have made a large purchase of the newest edition of the Catholic Youth Bible and are making these available to our parish youth for the very low cost of $15.  This is a wonderful edition of the Scriptures with many extra articles, prayer suggestions, background information, charts, information on Catholic prayers and practices (such as the rosary and Stations of the Cross), and pictures included.  The regular retail price of this bible is $26.95 so you won’t get a better deal anywhere!  We’re asking our youth in middle school and high school faith formation to bring their bibles with them to class each week and if they need one, this is the bible to purchase.  They would even make wonderful Christmas gifts!  To buy one (or more), send your payment in with your student and we’ll send the bible home with him/her.  Or contact Michael Griffin (mgriffin@paxchristi.com, 952-405-7230) or Cindy Novak (cnovak@paxchristi.com, 952-405-7214) to make arrangements to pick one up directly from our offices during business hours.  Checks can be made payable to Pax Christi.
