Pax Christi Welcomes (Back) Our New Pastor!

The transition time since Fr. Mike’s death has brought challenges and uncertainty as we all wonder what (or whom?) happens next.  Thank you for your patience and prayers during these past weeks.   I’m pleased to announce that God has blessed us with a wonderful pastor ~ none other than Fr. Bill Murtaugh!

Most of you remember Fr. Bill as pastor at Pax Christi prior to Fr. Mike’s arrival.  Fr. Bill is familiar with Pax Christi, is known by many parishioners, and has a great love for this parish.

I’m grateful for Fr. Bill’s willingness to step in and serve the people of Pax Christi during this interim period.  

His appointment will be effective in August, although he may take a little much-deserved vacation time in between his assignments. He knows he’ll be busy once he’s back at Pax!   We’ll plan a welcome weekend and celebration of the 50th anniversary of his ordination once he gets settled here.  Watch for further details.
