|Fr. Bill Murtaugh, Pastor|
Bill Murtaugh was appointed pastor of Pax Christi Catholic Community
beginning July 1, 2012. He was no stranger having served here as senior
associate pastor from July 2011 to June 2012 and from July 2006 to June
2008. He can be found most days in his
office with his two golden retrievers at his feet. Previously he was
pastor of St. Thomas Becket in Eagan, St. John the Baptist in New
Brighton, St. Henry’s in Monticello, St. Joan of Arc in Minneapolis, and
an associate at the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis. A native of
Hastings, MN, he studied for the priesthood in Chicago and served in
Cleveland and New York City before returning to Minnesota in 1982.
|Fr. Mike Kueber
Fr. Mike Kueber, Associate Pastor
Fr. Mike, a native of Michigan, went to school at the University of Notre Dame. While there, he became involved in the People of Praise, a lay, charismatic, interdenominational community. During his senior year, he joined the Brotherhood, a celibate men’s community within the People of Praise.
Fr. Mike was ordained in Portland, OR on July 1, 2000. He has served at parishes in Oregon and Minnesota. In 2009, Fr. Mike went to Rome to study Liturgy at St. Anselm’s. He returned to the United States in 2011, after earning a degree in Liturgy.
Fr. Mike loves nature, especially water, and enjoys swimming and kayaking. He also likes watching sports, good movies, and listening to music.
Deacon Al Schroeder
Deacon Al was ordained for the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis in September, 1998 and his first and only assignment has been to serve the Pax Christi Catholic Community. He works with people celebrating baptisms, weddings, and funerals, and he occasionally preaches at Sunday Mass.
|Vicki Klima, Parish Director|
Vicki directs and supervises the day to day overall operations of Pax Christi. She provides leadership for the development and implementation of all ministries, processes, and policies to effectively achieve Pax Christi's vision. Vicki works collaboratively with the pastor, directors of each ministry area, staff, Community Council, Finance Council, and Lay Leadership Council.

Oversees operations and maintenance of our physical plant and grounds. Ken supports administrative functions to serve the parish community and manages use of the building for parish and community groups.
|Cindy Soeldner, Receptionist|
Cindy is the main receptionist for Pax Christi. She is here to answer the phone and welcome all who call or visit the parish. She also assists in a variety of administrative ways.
|Michael Griffin, Director of Faith Formation|
Works to integrate faith formation and social justice into the parish. Supervises the justice ministries and faith formation staff and programs and oversees the formation of volunteers in justice and formation ministries, ensuring that the mission of the church and Pax Christi is carried out.

Sr. High Youth
|Peter Bierer, Sr. High Youth Formation Minister|
Peter serves as the primary leader and coordinator of parish formation programs and ministries for sr. high youth. He also has responsibility for calling forth and training adults to serve as catechists and in other roles serving parish youth. He works collaboratively with the middle school minister and other faith formation team members to develop and implement an effective and faith-filled formation experience for all ages. Peter started at Pax Christi in the summer of 2012 and comes to us from parish ministry in Mankato, MN. He is working on his master’s degree at St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN.
|Renee Dignan, Faith Formation|
Renee plans, develops, and implements catechesis for the Classroom Program (grades 1 - 6), First Reconciliation program, First Eucharist program, the 56er program, and our popular summer Vacation Bible Camp. She works as a team member in Faith Formation and makes real the presence of God to hundreds of young Pax Christi members.
Youth Formation Minister
|Cindy Novak, Middle School Formation Minister|
Cindy is responsible for all middle school youth, grades 7 and 8, faith formation programs. She works with youth throughout the parish, including retreats, and activities. She helps provide service opportunities, outreach and social events.
|Carol Osterhus, Faith Formation|
Carol is the coordinator for our faith formation for pre-school children on Sunday mornings in the Sunday School and Good Shepherd programs. She also is the staff contact for the parish House Church program.
|Connie Wesley, Administrative Support|
Connie provides administrative support for faith formation and social justice ministries, as well as the main parish office. She helps maintain the parish data base and is often the hospitable voice and presence for parish contacts of all kinds.
Director of Stewardship

Mary's primary responsibility is to assist parishioners wherever they may be in their journey of stewardship as a way of life. She assists in the education of stewardship as a way of life, develops and manages hospitality and community life events, volunteer coordination, and planning and resource development.
Jane Schmitz, Director of Pastoral Ministry
Jane provides pastoral care to parishioners in a variety of settings. While special emphasis is given to serve the local care centers, parish support groups, and Companion Ministers of the parish, the pastoral care department seeks to genuinely support the mind, body and spirit of all parishioners.

Mary Ann supports the pastoral care of our community, working closely with Jane Schmitz, Father Murtaugh, and Father Kueber. She collaborates with community members and staff to provide welcoming, life-giving pastoral ministry at Pax Christi.

Donna oversees music at all our liturgical events and collaborates with all ministry areas to provide quality worship that promotes the full, conscious, and active participation of the assembly, supporting the mission of the Church.

Angela works with music and liturgy focusing on the Sunday 5:00pm Mass with the Teen Choir.
Liturgy and Wedding Coordinator

Supports all weekend liturgies, funerals, and other liturgical celebrations. She coordinates all of the liturgical ministries.

Hospitality Volunteer Coordinator
Kate is responsible for our Holy Family nursery. She gives direction to the nursery staff to ensure a safe and nurturing environment is provided in our Nursery. She also helps to coordinate volunteers for hospitality, working with our volunteers.
Building Services Coordinator
Al Haider, Building Services Coordinator
Al coordinates Volunteers to assist in the Building Service work load and works as a member of the team to deliver high quality service to all ministries. Al recruits and trains many volunteers that help out in cleaning and maintaining our facility and grounds.
Lead Building Services

Terry’s primary responsibility is to provide an efficient, safe, and effective environment in our building and on our grounds. He opens the building and is here in the daytime Monday through Thursday and Saturdays.
Melissa Nault, Communications Specialist
Melissa is responsible for Pax Christi’s communications and marketing. She is responsible for the website, weekly bulletin, newsletters, social media, outside marketing, and creative artistic support for parish programs and events.
Evening Building Services
Todd Nelson, Evening Building Services
Todd keeps the building and grounds clean and safe, and sets up for meetings. Todd’s specialty is painting. He serves this community Monday through Thursday and Sunday late afternoons and evenings, overseeing evening activities.

Coordinator of Parish
|Beth Rademacher, Coordinator of Parish Social Ministry|
Beth serves as the staff contact and liaison for parish charity and justice ministries. She works with the ministry director and Justice Council to implement a vision of gospel and parish values as contained in Catholic social teaching. She works collaboratively with the Justice Grants Board, 12 Baskets ministries and other social ministry groups. She started at Pax Christi in the fall of 2012 and brings many years of parish experience with her. Earlier in her life she spent time in South America as a Maryknoll Associate, and continues to be involved with Minnesota without Poverty.
|Sue Schroer, Administrative Support|
Sue is an administrative assistant in the main office. Her current focus is liturgical and works with Worship area to support the ongoing weekly administrative needs with Worship. She also provides administrative work for all ministry areas.
Anne Swenson, Parish Accountant
As a Certified Public Accountant, Anne manages the records of our parish financial life. She chronicles all parish financial transactions, generates financial statements, and processes payroll and accounts payable.
