Thanks for caring for God’s creation
Once again the Spring Clean up volunteers have completed the remarkable task of sprucing up and beautifying the grounds of our church.
About 60 people converged April 25, 2009 to plant, mulch, and rake, shovel and pick up all around the 23 acres of Pax Christi. Thank you to one and all that participated again this year. The weather participated and much work was accomplished. The site is now ready for the Gardening Group to take over with the planting and maintaining of the gardens plots all around us.
Twice a year we gather together to clean up, spruce up and beatify the Pax Christi outdoor environment. The past two years hundreds of members have volunteered in this effort. Thanks to you we have removed trash, unsightly weeds and many invasive plants such as buckthorn. The event was sponsored by our Environmental Challenge Ministry and various leadership and staff members.
