Meets First and Third Thursday of the Month, 9:00am - 9:00pm
The Pax Christi Quilters group flowed out of the Jubilate project. The quilters met twice a week for several months to work on a large-scale quilting project, and discovered the enjoyment of fellowship, conversation, sharing ideas, laughter, (and sometimes food), with each other. That original group has continued to meet and wishes to invite people with similar interests to join in the fun.
The visions are many – besides the fellowship, the fun and the food – we hope to learn from each other by way of demonstrations of our art form; invitation of speakers, etc. The time may be used to create projects for yourself, for charity, or for service projects.
The group has secured a full day twice a month (from 9am – 9pm) to come and go as schedules allow or permit. The die-hards may come at 9am and stay until 9pm if they wish! Perhaps we’ll share a pot-luck meal, or go out to a restaurant. It’s all up to you!
So, gather up your UFO’s (unfinished objects) or your new projects and ideas and join us on the first and third Thursday of every month at Pax Christi in the Dietrich Bonhoeffer room (room #257).
