Join us for an unforgettable week of service and fun at Middle School Service Week from July 29th to August 2nd, running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily! For just $200, middle schoolers can engage in impactful morning service projects followed by exciting afternoon activities such as GrandSlam, Cascade Bay, Valleyfair, Marcus Theaters, AMC Thrift, Feed My Starving Children, and more. PAXCONNEX
Middle School, Grades 6-8
Sessions on Sundays 6 - 7 p.m.
This year middle school youth registered in Pax Christi Faith Formation will meet in room 131, John XXIII, to learn about their Catholic faith and grow in discipleship while building meaningful relationships with other youth and their adult leaders. Middle school youth can expect to learn about the Bible, Saints, Vocation, Catholic Social Teaching, and the Mass while meeting new people, and reconnecting with old friends. Snacks provided!
Fun events are also planned for middle school fun nights (held during the normally scheduled faith formation session times). Check the calendar for more details!

About Evan Bierer
Middle School Youth Formation Minister
Evan Bierer has served at Pax Christi Catholic Community as Middle School Youth Formation Minister and video editor for four years. Previously Evan has been a site coordinator and program leader for Just 5 Days, a national week-long Catholic middle school summer mission trip experience created by the Center for Ministry Development (CMD) and has had one foot in Youth Ministry and one foot in music for many years. Evan belongs to the Youth Ministers Network (YMN) and the National Federation of Catholic Youth Ministers (NFCYM).
Evan holds a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a Bachelor of Music from McNally Smith College of Music in Saxophone Performance. Certified and licensed to teach K-12 classroom and instrumental music through the State of Minnesota, Evan also maintains a private lesson studio, teaches woodwind lessons and Jazz Band at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN, and performs as a freelance saxophonist and in several music ensembles.
