Garden Level Refurbishment.

Planning is underway to refurbish and remodel the Garden Level to provide a more usable space for our Youth and all other ministries that use this space.
Project Details – The Garden Level needs to be remodeled to make it more usable for our Youth and all other ministries that use this space. The hallways and walls in and around the Garden Level are in need of painting. The flooring needs to be replaced. The breakout rooms on the east end are too small to be useful.

Status – WORK DAY SCHEDULED - A work date has been set. Saturday, January 19 at 8 am we will begin this project by removing one section of wall in a small meeting room and also removing a door. We will be framing in the wall where the door was removed and preparing the room for repainting. The project leaders anticipate this rework will require about 4 – 6 hours for this step if we have sufficient help. Tools needed – Please bring your tools if you have them.
We will need:
Cordless screwdrivers/drills
Hammers and prybars
Sawzalls
Utility knives
Sheet rocking tools
We will be installing a wall over a concrete floor so if someone has a nail driver we will need that as well. Please let Ken know if you have this tool so we know if we need to acquire one.
And, of course, your own personal protection equipment such as safety glasses and gloves.
