Pax Christi’s Burgundy Bag Food Drive
A solution to hunger? Pax Christi Catholic Community has it in the bag! Grab a Burgundy Bag and join in our parish effort to respond to those who are facing hunger in our community. The bags are reusable and are meant to be taken to the grocery store, filled with foodstuffs, and brought back to church for transport to the PROP food shelf. Everyone who drops off a bag of food at the church is invited to take an empty tote bag back home and repeat the process so that the Pax Christi food drive runs continuously. View the food needs on the "Burgundy Bag" page and read about “Pax Christi’s Burgundy Bag Food Drives,” www.paxchristi.com/burgundybagfooddrives.

Advertise in Our Bulletin!
Please consider advertising in the bulletin since the revenue from the ads is what makes the bulletin possible at NO COST TO PAX CHRISTI.  It’s a great way to get your name in front of the families in the parish – over 2,100 homes receive the printed bulletin and around 2,000 people receive it electronically. Advertisements can be purchased for a business, family, or a sponsor ad can be purchased supporting community service organizations. We need and appreciate your help! If you are interested or just curious as to prices and want more information, please contact Gina Shaughnessy, our customer service representative at Liturgical Publications, 952-852-4034, or email her anytime at gshaughnessy@4LPi.com.

Email and Electronic Bulletin Users Wanted
If you would like to receive the eBulletin by email rather than land mail, please contact the parish office, 952-941-3150, or mnault@paxchristi.com. Emailing the bulletin to those who would enjoy receiving it in that format both saves the community money and makes us better stewards of the earth’s resources. Contact Melissa Nault, 952-405-7221, if you have additional questions.

Catholic Youth Bibles Available!
We have made a large purchase of the newest edition of the Catholic Youth Bible and are making these available to our parish youth for the very low cost of $15.  This is a wonderful edition of the Scriptures with many extra articles, prayer suggestions, background information, charts, information on Catholic prayers and practices (such as the rosary and Stations of the Cross), and pictures included.  The regular retail price of this bible is $26.95 so you won’t get a better deal anywhere!  We’re asking our youth in middle school and high school faith formation to bring their bibles with them to class each week and if they need one, this is the bible to purchase.  They would even make wonderful Christmas gifts!  To buy one (or more), send your payment in with your student and we’ll send the bible home with him/her.  Or contact Michael Griffin (mgriffin@paxchristi.com, 952-405-7230) or Cindy Novak (cnovak@paxchristi.com, 952-405-7214) to make arrangements to pick one up directly from our offices during business hours.  Checks can be made payable to Pax Christi.
