Baptism

Baptism incorporates us with Christ and forms us into God's people. It is the first sacrament of initiation. The Catholic Church baptizes people of all age--from infants to adults. To help prepare individuals and families for this sacrament, the Church offers various forms of formation.

At Pax Christi families choosing to baptize their infant are invited to attend a Baptism Preparation Workshop which offers insight and guidance concerning the Sacrament of Baptism. Contact Michael Griffin for more information on Baptism, 952-405-7230.

2008 Baptism Preparation Sessions

All sessions are Tuesdays, from 7:00-8:30pm and are held in room #240, the Chief Joseph Room, unless noted. Pre-registration is helpful but not necessary (call the parish office at 952-941-3150). Parents are expected to participate in the session even if they have baptized other children. Experienced parents have much to offer new parents!
