Artist Mark Edwin Carlson's Wicked Game Exhibit

Saturday, May 17–Sunday, June 22
in the Pacem in Terris Gallery
in the Martin Luther King, Jr. room #239

Wicked Game is an interactive painting series inspired by 15 real Minnesota hate crimes from the past decade. Non-graphic and appropriate for ages 10 and up, the exhibit is based on the classic card game of Concentration. Upon entering the space, pick up a pencil and game sheet containing the crime narratives, then match the paintings to the crimes. Play the game and you will begin to understand its significance. The answer key is in the accompanying three-ring binder located in the gallery. Mark is a Christian artist from Minneapolis. Primarily working in oil, he focuses on topics related to social justice. Mark will be available in the gallery after all morning Masses on May 18. Be sure to participate in this provocative exhibit.

This exhibit, brought to our community by the Pax Christi Art Committee, will be available for viewing after all daily and weekend Masses from May 17–June 22.  It is also available for viewing at other times upon request.
